PROJECT / CLIENT DESCRIPTION
Suzana is a therapist who is searching for relationships worth living for. She offers family systems therapies that are designed for people who would like to resolve family, partner, and work-related difficulties.
MY ROLE – web design, logotype, photography
CHALLENGE, PROCESS
& SOLUTION
Systemic Family Constellations (Sistemske družinske postavitve) claim that present-day problems and difficulties may be influenced by traumas suffered in previous generations of the family, even if those affected are unaware of the original event. That’s why we chose a tree as a symbol and created a logotype that presents the area of Suzana’s work.
In a flood of websites with similar themes, Suzana wanted to stand out with her service to attract clients. After research and workshop with a client, we achieved a differentiation factor with specific photo material, colours and minimalist design. We wanted to awaken the trust of a potential client when he scrolls through the website.
WHAT I LEARNED &
SKILLS I GAINED
This project was a bit different from the others in the way that the client was my mother. This may come across as a little too personal, but she didn’t comprehend the nature of design work in general for a long time. As you all know, it is much easier to be a carpenter and make a table or chair since those things are visible and touchable, and therefore people can easier connect and equate this with “real work”, whereas design it’s harder, everything happens somewhere in the cloud. To get to the point, with this project, my mother realized that I do “the real work” as well, albeit not on the chairs, but she understands and values me. I’m super grateful for that experience.
